Summer Class Descriptions
Just JAZZ - Put on your dancing shoes and get ready to move and groove to the music. Have fun and keep fit while working on your jazz technique. Open to all levels.
Cardio Jazz - Keep fit this summer and have some fun burning calories in Cardio Jazz! Each week will consist of a warm-up, repetitive dance sequences, then cool down and stretch. Running shoes recommended.
Tap into the Past - Each week will include a review of a variety of tap steps which will go into a fun combination using traditional tap music. A historical explanation of the steps and traditional music will be used in class. Intermediate level.
Tap Basics & Beyond - A great class for those dancers who wish to continue to work on their tap technique at an introductory to Intermediate level.
Rhythm Tap - A fun, fast paced class that will get your feet moving to a variety of rhythms and keep you on your toes!
Ballet Fit & Stretch - Ballet is a great workout for the whole body. This class will warm-up your muscles up with classical ballet barre exercises focusing on postural alignment and ballet technique. The end of class uses a mat for floor stretches concentrating on flexibility and range of motion with relaxation music. Modifications can be provided throughout the class to suit all participants.
