"GYPSY FUSION DANCE"
At this workshop George-Ann will teach the "CHOCHEK" (known as the Queen of Balkan Dances) and through music she will magically transport you to a Roma wedding party in a Mahala( Gypsy Ghetto ) near Bucharest.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: George-Ann Buchalter is back after a 12 year odyssey in Vancouver. She brings with her a wealth of dance experience. While out west, George-Ann danced with Romanian gypsies at Kino cafe, as well as performed in Greek taverns, Art Gallery concerts, on TV and at Jazz Folk Festivals. She has even whirled with the Mevlevi Dervishes. Trained at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, she has been teaching since her teens.
TAP AND JAZZ FALL TUNEUP
Here's the chance to have some fun while getting back into shape for the 2010 performance season. This one week fall workshop is suitable for those performers who want to brush up on their dance technique.
The tap class will start at 10 am and the jazz class will follow at 11 am

REGISTRATION FEE: $30.00 for one week in either tap or jazz. Register for both sessions and the cost is $55.00
DROP IN FEE: $8.00 per class (a completed registration form is required for drop in students)
